Logic’s album starts off with a sound of majestic drums, simulating a landing of a spacecraft in his first song on his sophomore album, Contact “The Incredible True Story And Transformation of The Man Who Saved World”. The Incredible True Story (for short) is described as a “ sophomore album and motion picture and sci-fi epic by Logic.”His first album “Under Pressure” was about his life growing up in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

His sophomore album has different inspirations. This album takes listeners to a space themed experience. The Sci-Fi motion picture comes to the album in form of skits. Following the journey of characters Quentin Thomas and William Kai as they try to find the planet Paradise, together with their onboard program interface Thalia, the two talk about various topics, while The Incredible True Story acts as a soundtrack for the journey. After the epic landing of Thomas entering the space station he is greeted by Kai, on the way to the space station Quentin said he was listening to Logic’s first album. So when you heard Thalia in the first album it was her talking to Thomas about the album.

Outside of the skits the album has 13 tracks on it including the single Young Jesus ft. Big Leno. Over all, every song is good, including the song Fade Away which is one of the albums best. Fade Away is about doing something that you will be proud of before you die. After the song is a mini skit telling how Thalia, from his first album has upgraded.

Which follows up to his next song Upgraded. The song list order on the album is placed strategically to give you information about the journey, so you need to listen to the album in order first before you listen to it on shuffle. The beats in this album are produced by mostly Logic himself and the talented producer 6ix but Logic producing more than half the album.

After hearing the album you will be convinced that Logic isn’t just a rapper but a producer as well. All through the album you can see the growth in Logic since his first mix tape since signing to Visionary the Young Sinatra Trilogy. This album is a must listen if you are a hip-hop fan who likes fast, complex, and intelligent lyrics. The Incredible True Story is going to go down as the top 5 albums of 2015.
